Our Story
Hungry Run Distillery was established in 2015 by Donald Logan and his wife Michelle on their very own homestead. Donald’s deep curiosity and passion for the distilling industry is what lead him to start his own business. The name Hungry Run derives from the small stream that runs through the property.
Our first ever hand crafted batch was the Ghost Rum and since then we have expanded to a variety of unique spirits such as flavored vodkas, whiskey, bourbon, and more.

Carbon filtered for a clean, crisp taste. Great to use in any mixed drink. 80 proof
FLAVORED VODKA
Our vodka available in a wide variety of flavors. - Blackberry, Candy Cane (seasonal), Cranberry, Mango, Peach, Pear, Raspberry, Rootbeer, Strawberry, Watermelon, vanilla, and blood orange - 40 proof.
AMERICAN WHISKEY
Made with 4 grains. Corn, rye, malted barley and wheat. The wheat softens the flavor to produce great straight up or on the rocks spirits. Aged in charred American oak barrels. 80 proof.
BOURBON
Our award winning bourbon is made with corn, rye, and malted barley, then aged in charred air-dried American oak barrels to give you a back of the tongue sensation of a rye/peppery taste with hints of vanilla and caramel produced from the char of the barrels. Smooth, bold and rich. 80 proof.
BOURBON CREME
We use our bourbon with real cream to produce a great after dinner drink. It has hints of vanilla, almond, chocolate, and mocha. 40 proof.
GHOST RUM
Clear rum made from blackstrap molasses and sugar. Off the still it has an eerie appearance, which is where the name comes from. We then carbon-filter our rum, which gives it a smooth taste with sweet aromas. 80 proof.
SPICED RUM
Soaked in spices to produce hints of vanilla, licorice and citrus with a sweet molasses finish. 80 proof.
COCONUT RUM
The sweet refreshing taste of our Coconut Rum is perfect mixed with just about any of your favorite cocktails or simply add to pineapple juice or cola. 40 proof.
MAPLE RUM
Our delicious rum flavored with maple syrup. The sweet spice notes of the rum balanced with a unique sweetness added by the maple syrup complete the experience. A favorite of ours. 40 proof.
GIN
Gin is a spirit famous for its botanicals; to be labeled Gin it must have some level of juniper in it which gives it the pine taste. Our Gin’s most dominate flavor is juniper with the addition of a variety of other botanicals, herbs, and spices to produce hints of both floral and fruit flavors. 92 proof.
APPLE PIE MOONSHINE
We use a neutral spirit and add spices to create a sweet apple pie flavor with hints of cinnamon and apple. Great either chilled or warmed. 40 proof.
LIMONCELLO
We use our vodka and add lemon zest to produce a smooth unique experience, fantastic for lemon martinis. 40 proof.
